HDMI 1.0
An gabatar da sigar HDMI 1.0 a watan Disamba na 2002, babban fasalinsa shine haɗakar hanyar sadarwa ta dijital ta sauti, sannan hanyar sadarwa ta PC ta shahara idan aka kwatanta da hanyar sadarwa ta DVI, ta fi ci gaba kuma ta fi dacewa.

HDMI 1.2

Nau'in E (Nau'in E) HDMI Nau'in E galibi ana amfani da shi don watsa sauti da bidiyo na tsarin nishaɗi a cikin mota. Saboda rashin daidaiton yanayin cikin motar, an tsara HDMI Nau'in E don samun halaye kamar juriyar girgizar ƙasa, juriyar danshi, juriyar ƙarfi mai yawa, da kuma jurewar babban bambancin zafin jiki.
